With such beauty...

Now that I work early in the morning, I get to see this view from my front door as I am leaving! I am so blessed to see this when the clouds are out! It is amazing to see Heavenly Fathers creations. A masterpeice that even an artist can not recreate!

The Beher bunch...

My sister and her family stop by from San Diego. It is always a treat to see them! They have a new family member!Nathaniel likes dinosaurs and calls them rawrs.

Duke is named after a surfer. He is a very sweet dog! Courtney and him did not like each other. They had to keep there distance.

We had to much fun with them. They left this morning! I miss them already!

Proudly on my wall...

Do you recognize this sign? Found this photo on Etsy. A guy from the east coast took this picture while visiting AZ. I thought it was funny, he had gone to Prescott Valley. Mark could not understand why I had to have it. He knows of my love hate relationship with PV. I did live there from age 6 to 20. Yup... 14 years! Sometimes I miss it but I could never live there. I think my grand parents stayed there once at the Motel. Have you seen that sign lately? They re-did it. It looks all nice and pretty! For now PV hangs up in my office...

A quick fix!

I am not a believer of boxed meals. It is not that I think they are bad, it is just rare to find something good that is boxed. Well I have been making this boxed meal for awhile now and it is good! It taste better then take out for sure. It is a bit pricey but worth it and is less then if you were to eat out. Go get this meal it is excellent!

A brush with death...

This is not the actually photo of the centipede that greeted me at the door step. Happily he or she is dead. It looked just like this one though. Mark and Jack (father in-law) where outside doing yard work and I took Nicky (there dog) and Courtney potty. Well as I was walking to the door little friendly dude, centipede was there. He is dead, I am relived. I have the willies now and think I have things crawling on me. Time to call the bug guy (Toby thats his name)!

Baseball part 2...

The pictures pretty much sums up the night we had...The d-backs won and as you can tell we had fun!!

Side note...I used the nasty public bathroom there (which is very brave of me) and it was gross. Anyone who knows me well knows that I hate going to the bathroom in public restrooms. Yuck!!

Your only a day away...

Today I got the courage to watch my beloved favorite childhood movie, while I worked out. I have not seen this movie since I have lived in CA. I drove my family nuts with this movie. I watched it sometimes twice a day. I quoted from it and all. I am sorry family, I can see why you went crazy. Sadly I did not make it through the whole movie. However I found myself singing along with the songs. Might I add Ms. Hanagin was really gross!
I always get colored pictures from the kids at school. This is just one of the many. Thought it was sweet!

I just wanted to say Happy Mothers day to all. Especially to my Mom! Thank you for making me who I am today. I love you! Happy Mothers day to my mother in-law she raised a great son whom I am very pleased to call my husband. I love you!
Also even though I am not a mom myself, I did treat myself to a little pampering. I painted my toenails.I do love them!

Perfect Pesto Pasta...

What you will need-Garlic powder, extra virgin olive oil (evoo), pesto (homemade or store bought) side note if you want this pesto, I got it at Target. It is cheaper to get it there then at the grocery store. Back to the list, some salt, angel hair pasta and chicken sliced thin.

Just showing how the chicken should look.

Next poor some EVOO (look above if you don't know what EVOO stands for) into a non-stick pan and turn it up to medium heat. Let it get warm. Mean
while sprinkle garlic powder and a dash of salt onto chicken. When pan is ready stick chicken into pan and let it get some crisp on to it. Turn over and do the same. Mean while get your pasta ready and cook as directed on package. The chicken should look like this when it is done.
Next place noddles in pasta bowl followed by the pesto and slices of crispy chicken.

There you have it dinner... Hope you like this one as much as I do!

Take me out to the ball game...

Mark and I had fun at the D-Backs game. I have to admit though I was quite entertained by this lady. It was really hard to focus on the game. Cracks me up! She really loves her D-backs!

Our view! We had loads of fun!

A better healthier me...

My new routine each day is work out on the treadmill for an hour in the morning and an hour when I get home. With type two diabetes in my family, I want to make sure I do not get it. Plus, I would like to be healthy before becoming pregnant. It has been hard this past week doing it, but very rewarding. I have been so sore but I am starting to get used to it. I am very proud of myself! Wish me luck!!!

Baby Lily...

I got this in my email and had to share it. Lily's baby blessing! She is such a sweet baby and very pretty. How sweet! Thanks Mom!

A permanent staple in my home...

When it comes to breakfast food, I really not a big fan but Mark is. Each morning if he is not working in the morning he asks "What is for Breakfast?" Like I have some wonderful hidden plan under my sleeve and have the hidden stash of sausage, bacon and hash browns hidden in the fridge ready just for him. His next attempt is "Can we go out to breakfast?"

In my reply "I have pancake mix..." and some chocolate chips to go in them.
His response is "I guess." Deep down he really likes them. That's what he grew up on.

What a view and another meal...

Nothing beats a AZ sunset...

I do love the sunsets!

Each day on my ride home from work I am lucky to be able to see the sunset. I just had to share it with you all!

Now for a scrumptious meal. I just want to ask if any of you ever have gotten those pre-made meals ,you get in the frozen section and been dissatisfied? I certainly have!! You find yourself chewing on fatty chicken and weird freezer burn. Well not any more! I got a meal that will have the same basic ingredients and yes you can freeze it.

Start out with 1 lb of chicken cut into pieces. A half of a bag of frozen carrots and broccoli and place in a stir fry pan or regular fry pan. Cook it on medium high heat. I add a pinch of garlic salt and pepper to it. Let is completely cook until the chicken is done.

Then get 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1 jar of bertolli's Alfredo sauce and your favorite pasta. Add the whole can of cream of mushroom soup and half of the Alfredo sauce. Then let simmer for 15 min. Mean while cook your pasta as directed on the package.

When the pasta is done drain and either place in fry pan and mix or a large bowl.I usually put Parmesan cheese on top.

Here is the finished product. I have leftovers for two days and Mark loves it! You can freeze but I would suggest not freezing the noddles. Make them when you are ready to eat the meal.
Enjoy!
