"Yes... I would like a large pepperoni with olive."

I was really excited today to make my first homemade pizza. Out of my 5 years of marriage, I have not even attempted to make my own. I use to make pizza's when I worked at Castle Golf as a teenager.

Anywho... when I got out of church today, I started to prep for it. Mind you, I was not making it till dinner time. I was really excited! When it was all said and done, I was pleased with the outcome! I guess I got the Castle Golf pizza making touch still. It was fun!

SIDE NOTE- I am kind of sad the summer Olympics are over! I really have enjoyed watching the gymnastics! I told Mark, that I would love to do all those cool flips! Good job USA!

I love you Mike! Happy Birthday!

Wow! My oldest brother is 39 as of yesterday! I miss being around him and I am sure he misses our date nights! I use to have date nights with my brother, sounds funny huh! Well that is what we called watching a movie in my room and I went and got MC Donald's for him. I love my brother Mike! He has the best personality! When my parents came to visit last. We had Mike in our car and we played our radio real loud and he got all excited. It was so cute! For people who do not know Mike, Mike has rubenstein tabi Syndrome. It is a form of mental retardation. He has a mentality of a 5 year old. He is so special to our family and we are lucky to have him in our lives. Happy Birthday my sweet brother! I love you!

Bored @ the ball park!

Yes... I went to another baseball game! My husband likes going to them and I have to say I am burnt out! I told Mark I was done going to d-backs games for awhile!!!! I just want to mention, I did not take any pictures of the game! I WAS BORED!

I love this little old lady! She comes to every single game that Mark and I have gone to, which is a least 9 games. I have mentioned her before HERE! She cracks me up. She brings her flags and all sorts of stuff. She is cute!

Not to many people know...

Did this in high school!
that I love art! I love to create it, look at it and apply it! I am lucky to say I have been to some really awesome art exhibits in my life time. My most favorite was viewing the Norman Rockwell works of art. I love the 50's era and his art work really portrays that time! I like it so much that I went twice to see it! I have not been able to explore my art talents lately and my Mom is probably sad to hear that! I will how ever try to get back into it! I know I have a few family members who want to have some of my art work. Here are a few below that I am not to embarrassed to show! HA!Done in my first year of marriage.Done in my second year of marriage.

What went wrong?

Alright so I attempted to make Toffee today for a treat for Mark.
I followed each step! I stirred for a half and hour straight! My arm got super tired! I even stirred more! Took a few taste here and there! Put it together and felt very accomplished! Placed it in the fridge for an hour! Oh boy I thought to myself, Mark will be impressed with me! HA! Took it out of the fridge right as my timer went off and then, this is horrible... it was not crunchy at all! My heart sank! What did I do wrong? Who knows but now I have to tell Mark it did not turn out! He was really looking forward to a piece of toffee. Oh well! Time for a candy thermometer!

SIDE NOTE- Courtney can say "YES MA MA"! It is quite funny!

Pink you stink!

Ok... it is offically our first year in our home. We love having our own home vs renting and throwing our money into someone elses pocket. We are blessed to have a home and are truly grateful for it. I did make a cake for the special event. Then again I try to find any excuse to make a cake. I love making cakes! Happy one year in our home to us.

I wish... I would have known!

With school in its second week here, I have been kind of reminiscing of my school days and life as a kid. I sometimes look back and say to myself, I wish I would have known, what I know now.

10. I wish I had not gotten angry with others. Life is to short. You can't hold onto a bag of rocks.
9. I wish I had applied for many scholarships and did community service to get more.
8. I wish I did not spend my (high school job at Castle Golf) income on so much clothes.
7. I wish I knew that my future husband lived 8 miles away from me! HA! Who would of known?
6. I wish I did not complain about gas prices.
5. I wish that as a kid, I did not want to grow up so fast.
4. I wish I was involved in a sport in high school.
3. I wish I would have taken my time instead of rushed.
2. I wish I developed more of my talents as a kid, now I have NO time.
1. I wish I would have known that, my life as a kid seems like a dream.

Dinner thats whats for dinner! HA!

This is one of the many questions that I am asked on a regular basis. I don't have kids, so you can guess who asks this everyday. I guess I should post a menu! HA! Call it the M&M Bistro.

Anywho... Here is the recipe for my yummy Fried Chicken Tenders.

What you will need

*6 chicken tenderloins
*4 large eggs
*1 tablespoon of red hot sauce
*1/2 cup of milk
*1 teaspoon of salt
*1 teaspoon of pepper
*1 teaspoon of garlic powder
*2 cups of flour
*1 tablespoon of oil

Get your skillet ready on medium heat and have waiting, place oil in the skillet. Mix eggs, milk and hot sauce in a bowl, set aside. In another bowl mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Get your chicken tenderloins and place in the wet ingredients and then place in the dry ingredients. Repeat twice and place in skillet. Cook until chicken is thoroughly done and has a nice golden crisp to it. There you have it! I love it! ENJOY

Ladies and Gentlemen

I am pleased to inform you this is my 100th blog post! How exciting! What could I possibly blog for my hundredth posting. Maybe a new recipe, a bargain find, or quite possibly a cute picture of my niece Lexi. I took this picture from my sister in-law. I hope she does not mind! I got a good laugh out of it!
Tune in tomorrow, where I am posting my very own recipe for chicken fried tenders. Mark thinks they are the best!

Hey soda drinkers!...

So Mark came home with this the other day. He was all excited! It is a soda bottle top. It is for the people who can't finish a can of soda and need to preserve the carbonation. I thought it would not work, but it really works. It is a pretty cool gadget! You can find them at most gas stations. Mark thinks it is the best thing ever! And I have to confess, I like it too. HA!

*COZY WITH COURTNEY*

I have the sweetest dog! Today I wanted to just relax since, I am sick and really tired from all that I had to do during the week. Whenever I lay down on the couch, she has to stick her head onto my cheek. It is her way of showing affection. She makes me laugh! I have never had a dog before who does this. Is this is normal? Most dogs lick to show affection, not mine! I love her!
