It's snowing @ my house! HA!

It is tradition to make snowflakes in my family. My mom use to have all us young-ins along with her, make snowflakes for all the windows in our house. This was usually done during a F.H.E night! I love to make them and I do every year. It is a cheap, fun decoration. BUuuRRrr it is starting to feel cold in my house with all this snow! (HA HA I wish!)



I remember one year my mom volunteered to teach the kids at my school how to make paper snowflakes. It was a hit for all my classmates! I was the cool kid for the day!

Bring on the PIE

I am hosting another Thanksgiving this year at my home. Last year I had 15 people at my house for the big day. Thank you Martha(sis)... you were a big help last year. This year I am having...------->


I am so excited! I love T-Day! One of the things I love the best is Pumpkin Pie! YUMMY! This year it is just not Pumpkin Pie but Cheesecake Pumpkin Pie!!..eww lala! I had to make sure the pie I made this Thanksgiving would be up to par so I made it today. (Don't worry people I will be making another pie, they won't be eating the week old scraps.) The verdict by Mark and I....??... Excellent!

So do you like my luggage photo. I was testing my camera and shot a pic at our luggage and then my battery died. Doesn't it really describes the great fun I had on my little trip to Prescott. You would not know it but I went to Prescott on Friday and was there till today. Boy I am tired...I did not sleep a wink in my in-laws spare bed (to hard). I kind of felt like Goldie Locks this weekend and was kind of whinny like her as well. SORRY Mark!

We got to go to a Sundogs Hockey game, which is all the rave for the little town of PV. Mark and I along with my in-laws had a blast! I loved watching the Hockey players break out in fist fighting! On Saturday Mark and Jack (father in-law) went to another Sundogs game while, Keren (mother in-law)and I had some bonding time. Thanks Keren I had fun!

Well we got home to a smelly house today. Before I left, I was doing some last minute cleaning and didn't realize I left a bowl soaking in my sink. It smelled like stale water when we got home today! Yuck!!! Mark has asked a couple of times... "What is that smell" I reply with.... "My soaked bowl"...like my answer is going to be different the second or third time. HA!

Anywho...we had a good time! Thanks again Jack and Keren, we love you!

Feeling a little gypped!

Winter is almost here and I am still using my AC somedays. We are still getting up in the 90's. Last year it cooled off sooner. I miss the cold weather and wearing these on my head. I have always wanted a flower beanie. These are from Etsy...Oh how I love to look at that site! Maybe I will take up knitting and learn how to make a very special flower beanie for myself! HA!

What do you know Joe?

Mark and I went to a Nascar race today. It was fun for Mark...but for me...Uuuugggghhhh!!! Now I do not mind going to these races and I do have fun. Today I was not in the mood. HA!


Since there have been much talk about Joe's lately. I found a lot of "Joe six packs" and "Joe the plumbers" at the race today. That's what Mark and I refer for the men who...

A. Wear no shirts at a public event.
B. Who have long or short hair mullets.
C. Who wear sleeveless shirts.

OK they are also referred as "Red Necks" as well! HA! I like "Joe's" instead! HA!
Have any of you gone to these races before?

At this point my lips get chapped and my bottom has had enough! HA!

Around the corner...

is Christmas! Oh.... how I love Christmas! As a part of my job, I have to come up with cheap crafts that little kids can do. It is not easy! However I have been going through the craft books and internet. I came up with this little ornament. Super simple and easy! That's how I like it! It is hard doing crafts with 40 plus kids! HA!

To make this ornament, you make a paper fan and fold it in half. Make another fan and fold in half. Connect them all together with glue or staples. Whola! You have a ornament!

close to a Kohls, go get your $4.99 clock! It was a steal! It is a very large express-o- clock! It looks great on my wall! It can be used as a Christmas present. I am little excited over it as you can tell.HA!

I had a long day! Woke up at 5:00 (early for me) then I had to go to a triathlon, where I passed out shirts and medals to all the sweaty people. Sorry no pic's it was kind of gross. I will not get into details! Hope everyone had a good Halloween!
