It's

weird to be alone. I do not recomend it to anyone. You can only talk to a dog for so long before the dog gets tired of you. I think Courtney has had enough of me...she is wondering what happen to Mark? I keep telling her that I did not get rid of him! She perks up around 8 pm thinking he will be coming home soon....and no Mark! Poor dog...poor me. 1 more night to sleep in a cold bed. I can't wait till he is home!

Scripture of the Month

is found in 3 Nephi. I am trying to finish reading the scriptures before this year ends. I am in 3 Nephi Ch.19. These past ch. have been amazing and I really enjoyed reading them. I am at the part where Jesus visits the Nephites and gives them new laws to live by, as well as baptism and the sacrament. I really love how he shows his love for the children and these verses touched me.

3 Nephi 17:21,22 "And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them. And when he had done this he wept again;"

These verses just made my heart swell for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.I do love him :)

Canning :)

I have only canned jam, but I was pleased to go to Target over the weekend and had found these tools for canning on clerance all for $5.00. I was thrilled! Recipes for canning and how to can. I am excited and Mark is too! P.S. Why do they call it canning? It is in jars!

a Christmas ornament idea to give to some families in my ward this year and this is what I came up with. Made with can lids, photo's from vintage books, modge podge glue, and odds and ends I have. Need to make 7 more...do you like?
